Every individual in the world runs after success. No one likes to face failure and disappointment. Still, everyone deals with it at least once in their life. Check the biography of the successful people and you’ll find that they didn’t savour success always; they also coped with the failure and handled it courageously.
Importance of Failure
How many times have you failed in something? Pen down the instances and give an honest reply – What that failure has taught you? Failures are the finest educators and can impart knowledge about almost everything in life. We can learn life-changing lessons from failures about business, career, love, family, relationships and almost everything. Failures make us confident and prepare us for upcoming challenges. We only necessitate changing our mindset towards failure and accept it as a teaching tool.
Why Do People Fail?
Failure is a stepping stone towards success and should be taken positively. It exists with us through our entire life. Still, the question arises that while success and failure play hide and seek with few, but others mostly receive failure in their kitty. There are two very common reasons for failures generally ignored by the people, often coerce them to suffer defeat. These key factors demand attention and timely elucidation before it gets into our habit.

Two Key Reasons for Failure
- Who Am I?
If you ask a person about his identity, the responses you get are name, religion, state, parents, family, and so on. Generally name, caste, religion, country are the factors that give an identity to the person. A child grows up listening to these terms in its family and develops a personality based on the learnt aspects. This imposed identity by family, society and country, shuts and hides the real person. People change their originality by getting influenced by political and societal elements. They lose their individuality and turn into a fake character.
In today’s world, people live a life directed by society and the media. They get so much used to living this fake life endowed with fear and uncertainty that they have almost forgotten their inner strength and potential. It has crossed our heads and turned us into timid people. Instead of using positivity and willpower, we believe in giving up. We readily accept failures and learn to live with them instead of facing them. In place of dealing with it, we start blaming luck and destiny.
Successful people achieve name and fame by hard work and a go-getter attitude; they never become slaves of fear. They identify the hidden powers within themselves and are never affected by any external negativity.
We need to identify ourselves for what we are, what our strengths are and what we can do. Remember, all the successful people in the world have come out of us; the only difference is that they recognized themselves and kept on moving forward. For that, if they had to go against the ideology of society, they did not lose. It is not that they did not fail, but they learned from their failure and went on to succeed.
Know your real self by leaving false identity; be ready to face any trouble with confidence, success will be yours.
2 .What Is The Purpose of Your Life?
The second biggest irony is that we do not know the purpose of our life. We adopt the purpose stated by people and society. From childhood, we are taught to study, get a degree, have a job then get married and take the family forward. In all this, the core purpose of our life gets missed. For what purpose we have come, it gets lost somewhere.
We follow what we are instructed by society – what is right, what is wrong, what should be done, what should not be done. We are never taught that we have a separate identity and we should find the purpose of our life accordingly. We think within a limited range and forget that the whole world is ours and we can achieve whatever we want. We go on an aimless journey without a destination.
How can we be successful without deciding the purpose of our life?
Understand the importance and purpose of your life. Set your goal and thrive to achieve it without worrying about failure. No failure can be greater than our passion for accomplishing the target. Purposeful life makes us happier, content and keeps us marching towards success.
